At Make Mental Health Matter, we believe mental health isn’t optional -it’s essential. We exist for the people who feel unseen, unheard, or unprepared and we equip them with the courage, words, and tools to change that.
We stand by the ones quietly carrying the weight of the world: the helpers, the caregivers, the parents running on empty, the youth holding secrets they don’t know how to share, the veterans who’ve seen too much, and the survivors who never asked to join “the club no one wants to be part of.”
We’re not just raising awareness, we’re taking action to make conversations about mental health, suicide, and recovery both normal and life-saving.
Our mission is to empower humans with the knowledge and skills to navigate difficult conversations about mental health, substance use, and suicide because open, educated conversations save lives.
Through our LoveLife L;ve Program, we’re filling the gap so people don’t have to choose between paying bills and taking care of their mental health. This program provides low-cost access to mental wellness for those with limited resources or high-deductible insurance, helping eliminate barriers, shorten waitlists, and collaborate with coaches and providers who care. Most importantly, it gives people their power back to care for themselves, prioritize self-love, and take action toward healing.
Our Give Youth a Voice program will empower middle schoolers to lead the movement for change - built by youth, for youth - so they can learn to express themselves, support peers, and speak openly about mental health.
And through the Make Mental Health Matter Show, we amplify real voices - of loss, hope, and resilience -reminding people everywhere that help and hope still exist.
Everything we do, whether it’s training, storytelling, or community outreach is guided by our A.C.E. approach: Action. Conversation. Education. We focus on prevention, intervention, and postvention, walking beside people at every step of their mental health journey.
We are educators, connectors, and advocates for hope. Because we aren’t just saying mental health matters, we’re taking action to MAKE mental health matter.
