Participants learn what signs to notice, how to communicate without escalating the situation, how to prioritize personal and workplace safety, and when and how to get additional help, including 988, 911, and mobile mental health crisis support. The training also includes recognizing a possible opioid overdose, administering naloxone/NARCAN, using the recovery position, and hands-on practice so employees feel more prepared to respond when it matters most.
